Had a great trip down the Peshtigo with the funyaks. Went with a group of 6 and the rapids were very exciting. The guide we had was also very good and kept us safe and down a good path on the river!
No way! This place is just too much!!! EXCELLENT in everyway. Price, service, attitude, EVERYTHING. Great for beginners and experienced alike. Cabins and campgrounds right on-site. I wouldn't recommend it; I would PUSH the matter! A definite MUST DO. If you've got the courage for the Whitewater, ask for Jamie. Great personality, great attitude, very friendly, and builds great confidence so you can raft, even for your first time, without too much worry. Just please remember what we forgot, they work on tips. If you've got it, and they deserved it (like with our group), keep them in mind. Have fun!!! What am I writing here??? I know you will!
Best friend from High School and I ran the Peshtigo and the Menominee Rivers. I had so much fun on the Peshtigo, I joined in with another group that left shortly after we got back and did the trip twice in one day. Dale did a great job on both rivers. I loved getting to run the gorge twice and Matt (I think that was his name) got some great photos for us.
This place was amazing. They have helpful staff and a beautiful campground. Kosirs accommodates almost everyone with their amenities and family activities you will remember for a lifetime. One being White water rafting. White water rafting was a blast. I would give a,big shout out to Zac- our guide- for keeping me on the boat on all the drops. If you are looking for camping in Northern Wisconsin this is the place to go.
Amazing service, the experience on the river was one of a kind and the guides were SUPER knowlageable. I was amazed when I realized they have been around since 1975! That's a long time at being the best, GO TO KOSIRS
